Requirements ---------------- Installation of PHP i-Stats 1.0 requires the following: -- A web server or web hosting account running on any major OS. -- MySQL Database (3.23 or higher). -- PHP 4.x with support GD 2.x and MySQL. 2. New Installations --------------------- -- Once you downloaded the file you need to uncompress it. -- After you uncompress the file, you should have a directory called PHP_i-Stats_1.0. -- Edit the file include/config.inc.php. -- Enter the connection information for MySQL server. ~ $cfg['dbHost'] ~ $cfg['dbUser'] ~ $cfg['dbPass'] ~ $cfg['dbName'] -- Enter the name and url or your website ~ $cfg['sitename'] ~ $cfg['siteurl'] -- Choose default language file. ~ $cfg['langFile'] -- Set Permission ~ $cfg['public'] // change it to FALSE if you don't want public your statistics ~ $cfg['username'] ~ $cfg['password'] -- Execute "sql/SQL_new_install.sql" with MySQL on phpMyAdmin or shell. -- Upload all files to your web server. -- insert the following code to your web page. For example if you placed PHP i-Stats in a directory /stats of your web root, and your URL is http://yourdomain.com, you should insert this code to your web page: -- Point your browser at this location for check your stats. For example if your domain name is www.yourdomain.com and you placed PHP i-Stats in a directory /stats of your web root you would enter http://www.yourdomain.com/stats/ into your browser. After you done this you should see the stats of your website. 3. Upgrade ----------- -- Edit the file include/config.inc.php. -- Running /sql/SQL_upgrade.sql on your MySQL server. -- Delete all "PHP i-Stats" files from your web server (NOT MySQL), and upload "PHP i-Stats 1.1" files to web server. 3.
